Reporting Outages - Energy Services

In the event of an isolated power outage (not an entire building), contact Facilities Services at 919-962-3456.

In the event of a widespread (buildingwide or campuswide) power outage, Energy Services utility systems will automatically detect the interruption of service. Updates and announcements about widespread power outages will be posted via the Finance and Operations Twitter account. If you feel Energy Services may not yet be aware of a widespread outage in your area, please use the form below to notify us.

If a power outage poses any danger or creates unsafe conditions, avoid the area and call UNC Police at 9-1-1.
